The Old Bakery Cottage, 58 High Street is in the ‘Old’ High Street is an original bakers cottage tucked away down a very quiet
narrow street just a few minutes stroll from the beautiful quay, in the heart of the old town named “Wells”.
Totally refurbished for
2008 the property has just been sensitively modernised yet maintains its original charm. The accommodation features an open
plan kitchen and dining room, Cosy lounge, two bedrooms, ensuite bathroom & separate shower room.
A small enclosed courtyard,
Garden furniture & bbq are provided and a barn for bikes and pushchairs.
The kitchen is fully fitted to a high specification to include a dishwasher, washing machine, full size fridge/freezer,
microwave and a beautiful range cooker. Dining area comfortably seating six with a television and a traditional wood burner
for those romantic dinners.
The comfortable lounge offers two sofas a flat screen TV and DVD player. You will find a small library of DVD's,
books and games but feel free to bring your own selection for the duration of your stay. The cottage also offers internet
access and a telephone upon request.
The ground floor offers a shower room and toilet, utility room and plenty of coat and boots space!
Bedroom 1 (facing the courtyard) -Double room with a traditional black iron bed with an en-suite and walk in wardrobe.
Bedroom 2 is a twin room looking out to the front of the cottage.
All bedrooms are fully equipped with including a hairdryer, bedside lamps, chest of drawers, ensuring a comfortable
and relaxing stay! (quality bed linen and fluffy towels on request)
Pets: Dogs by prior arrangement
Children: Children are welcome and catered for in the Bakery, we have plug covers, door latches, travel cot, high chair,
safety bed sides and top and bottom stair gates, and their own dinner set.
Wells-next-the-Sea
The cottage is perfectly
located offering a local shop and nearby pubs and shopping on Staithe Street, making it an ideal base for families with small
children or with elderly relatives.
The Wells area is popular with holidaymakers due to its abundance of fisherman's cottages, narrow quaint alleyways.
From the cottage all of Wells Next the Sea attractions are within an easy walk, The Buttlands housing the famous Crown Hotel,
Indoor swimming pool, pubs, restaurants, shops, nature trail & coastal paths.
The famous North Norfolk resort of Wells next the Sea is loved by tens of thousands of visitors for its superb sandy
beaches, coastal pathways lined with pinewoods, sailing and birdwatching. Its narrow bustling Staithe Street and quay now
home of the 1819 Albatros, its glittering sand, sea and clear air and for its friendly hospitable people.
